Annauma is partnering with Community Foundations of Canada’s Free to Play initiative to create more opportunities of outdoor play for children across the country, now reaching Nunavut for the first time.
Through Free to Play, we’re supporting community-led projects in Nunavut that help children unplug and reconnect—with the land, with one another, and with their imaginations.
We will host information sessions, inviting a discussion on how Inuit children learn and play outdoors in Nunavut communities and provide a chance to learn more about the Free to Play granting program.
Annauma has $250,000 in 2026 to support local projects through a consensus granting cohort of up to five organizations.
