As part of our yearly consensus granting cycle, Annauma is thrilled to announce the participants of our 2025/26 Inuit Children and Youth consensus granting cohort. This group brings together organizations dedicated to creating strong foundations for the next generation of Nunavummiut. Their collective work reflects the importance of Inuit voices guiding decisions about community solutions to local challenges.
This year’s participants include:
- 867 Strength — creating wellness opportunities for youth
- Arctic Children and Youth Foundation — providing traditional parkas for children
- Isaksimagit Inuusirmi Katujjiqatigiit Embrace Life Council — developing grief care resources
- Pirurvik Preschool — expanding on Inuktitut Montessori programming to include food-based curriculum
- Qaujigiartiit Health Research Centre — piloting programming for an integrated youth services hub
We are honoured to work alongside these dedicated organizations as they carry forward initiatives rooted in Inuit knowledge and community priorities. Stay tuned in the months ahead as we share more about the projects supported through this granting cycle, and the impact they will have for children and youth across Nunavut.
